12:56 am [Link]	Filtered to Landon First, apologies on zoning out there when you had to answer for me at the student gov meeting rather than leaving me just staring blankly ahead like I had just been asked something in ancient greek. ~~I'm not usually so all over the place.~~ Suppose you really didn't have to, so thanks. Next, I know I forgot to tell you thank you for the Valentine's candy even if it was in the shape of maple leafs rather than hearts. Though you have a big heart and are very sweet. Thanks again. Or rather for the first time unless my comment that I know I forgot to counts... Or something. ~~Though it made me cry, but that's not your fault.~~ And lastly, any chance you're thinking of being at the Pier in the somewhat near future? Or just some day I could pencil in. It keeps me awake and usually makes me a little more giggly, but it's better than coffee. Or tastes better. Anyhow... Rob, I need to go take you for a drive. 04:55 am [Link]	We can drive four hundred miles before we stop for gas... ~~I think~~ I want to get a car. I'm not entirely sure what kind of car so I'm completely open for suggestions. Just nothing huge that is going to be next to impossible to park. It would just make it so much easier to get around here if I had something of my own to drive. I could probably drive it all the way home too if it came down to that. Could be fun. Otherwise just keeping busy as usual. Nothing surprising there. 07:21 pm [Link]	I could write books about all the things you don't know about me I could easily talk about all the stuff this week~~, but some of these people scare me a bit. I voted for him. I'm happy he won, but I'm not exactly dancing around in bliss or anything of the sort~~, but there's another type of change I'd like to see happen. Because the poor books in the library are always so abused. I don't mean in the way that people are highlighting them and other things abuse. Books need to be checked out though and read and enjoyed. Most people might check out the newer books, but most of the older ones just sit on their shelves wanting to be read. Plus library books always have that particular smell that comes with age. It's a very nice smell though. It's sad though when some of them look like they haven't been checked out though since long before I or most of the student population was born. Besides I left all of my Austen books at home, and you'd think those would be more read over. I'm also pledging Tri-Theta. Which is probably what is exciting me most this week. [Private to Self] Which it actually closely follows there being the ceasefire. Please, God, just let him come home and be done with this. 08:18 pm [Link]	I hit the radio dial and turn it up all the way Is anyone else not really ready for the holiday to be over with? It always sounded like it was supposed to be longer when people would talk about winter break once you were in college. It didn't seem like that long, but maybe I just let it wasted away. Part of me is going to be glad to have something else to do come tomorrow, but another week wouldn't have been terrible. Busy day tomorrow, though I might be able to make it by the studio between classes and my evening meetings ~~though it would be my luck everyone will go take up all the space. 04:48 pm [Link]	I'm dreaming of a white christmas I need to get gifts delivered before I leave next weekend. ~~Which is namely Rob, Rebecca and Ariel... I need more friends.~~ As long as everyone hasn't run off already for the holidays and then I can ship it or I can give them after the holidays. Don't know how long I'll actually be staying in Chicago for. There's not much to go home for other than to keep home from coming out here, and not that they're not all nice and fine but I would rather not subject WDU to them. On another note, to my campaign manager: There will be no running for any national office out of Illinois. There are far too many corrupt politicians and I would rather not be associated with that in the least bit. Then I'm sure everyone's heard about our Governor who is either going to resign or be impeached over basically auctioning off the empty senate seat since Mr. Obama was elected president. Regardless, Mr. Manager, we're finding another state. California is rather nice, but I am still a redhead in a place with far too much sun. Which is not quite as bad as it sounds, but I should probably get down to the studio. 09:21 am [Link]	I been telling my dreams to the scarecrow ~~I should probably be actually paying attention in class, but I have an A in here already and I'm paying enough attention that I can still answer any questions he asks.~~ I am so very very VERY excited to have most of next week off. The break is very much needed if even just to study for finals so I'm not trying to cram everything into my head the last week. So far so good though with most of my classes, though Intro to American Government isn't quite as easy as I thought it was going to be. It just means more studying than I planned on. ~~Virginia~~ My mom wants me to come home for the holiday next week, buuut... I'll see her soon enough. ~~Unless I can find an excuse to stay here over Christmas.~~ It's likely going to be boring anyhow and I can certainly find something to do here. I must sound terribly boring though... ~~Or hyperactive. Last time I have chocolate for breakfast.~~ What's everyone planning on doing next week?
